Information
If
you're looking for a Golden Retriever puppy, Jumpstart, or adult, it is
very important to find a reputable Golden Retriever Breeder who has the
health concerns of the breed at the heart of their breeding program. It
is only by testing and clearing breeding stock that the problems that
plaque the breed can be brought under control. While this doesn't
guarantee a perfect puppy, it does help in knowing that you, and the
breeder, have done the what you can to find a healthy puppy. Some
breeders are ignorant, or don't care about your puppy's health. Here at
Legend Lake Golden Retrievers it is at the very heart of everything we
do.
Here at Legend Lake, we have your puppy's health and
well-being in mind. Our pups are socialized, de-wormed, vaccinated, and
well socialized before they even go home. We also do a Training program
with all our pups which helps them become confident, well-adjusted dogs.
Our
puppies are the result of a careful, very selective breeding program
combining over 26 years experience in the breed. We've learned a lot
along the way. This careful consideration gives you the peace of mind
that a Legend Lake puppy will be bred for temperament, breed type,
quality, and boasting a beautiful typical coat. We stand behind our
puppies and offer a guarantee with every puppy we sell.
Puppies
range between $1000 - $1500 for pet puppies please inquire about show
puppies. Occasionally we have adults available for placement also.
At
Legend Lake Golden Retrievers most of the time we usually keep several
puppies back. We keep them for a couple reasons: as replacement sires
or dams, show prospects, or to start for others to enjoy. We think
people should have the opportunity to purchase a puppy which has been
worked with and started. These puppies are know as our Jumpstart
puppies.Breeders Guarantee: All puppies carry a 5 day health guarantee.
If during that period the puppy becomes seriously ill and a
veterinarian can attribute that illness to us, we will refund the
purchase price of the puppy upon the immediate return of the puppy.
Beyond that period, regular deworming, cocciddia checks, proper diet,
proper weight, inoculations and nutrition are the responsibility of the
purchaser. Puppy will need a regular series of shots every two-three
weeks until it is 16 weeks of age. We strongly recommend you follow
your veterinarian’s protocol for your dog. Heart guard is necessary to
protect every dog from heart worms which are life threatening.
